For example, all business students undertake the Business Game module and compete in teams as part of a computer simulation exercise that culminates in a presentation to a panel of internal employers. International students can enter at Year 2 of this course having completed an undergraduate year one programme at the required academic level with approved teaching partnersONCAMPUS Aston or NCUK.

You will consider the relevance of core marketing concepts for organisations whilst developing core competencies in group working, critical thinking, evaluation of information sources and referencing. Careers advice is embedded into your academic programme through workshops, events, placements, networks – working with the academic staff teaching on your course. We also offer materials, networks and resources online through our 24/7 portal, and a wide-range of activities, opportunities and support centrally in the Careers Service space within the Student Hub. Students ordinarily resident in Wales may be to apply for postgraduate support from Student Finance Wales.

This module provides you with practical skills and knowledge which are important in developing a new venture. The module will assist you in identifying opportunities to exploit, how to establish a business model and how to protect intellectual property. This module is designed to enhance students’ knowledge of services marketing in a variety of service markets, both in the UK and globally. Hence, it sets out to develop an understanding of the nature of the marketing of services, key underpinning concepts… Our Masters programmes are designed to prepare you for a successful career in a variety of marketing roles, wherever in the world you plan to work. Employers expect advanced communication and technical skills, team-working and independent research, project-management and the very latest specialist knowledge from their postgraduate recruits.

You will understand the practical side of marketing tools and learn the pros and cons of each, for the professional marketer. With our Masters of Marketing programme, you’ll gain a sound knowledge of the principles of marketing and develop an understanding of consumer behaviour in relation to individuals and organisations. You’ll have the opportunity to gain the necessary technical and personal skills for your future career. UK students can take out a Master’s Loan to help with tuition fees and living costs. For 2022 entry, they provide up to £11,836 for full-time and part-time taught and research Masters courses in all subject areas. Ideal for recent graduates, marketing or digital marketing professionals, or those with an interest in digital marketing and tactical data analysis, who want to build their digital marketing skills and pursue a career in this field.

That’s why we’re introducing a new block model for delivering the majority of our courses, known as Education 2030. This means a more simplified timetable where you will study one subject at a time instead of several at once. You will have more time to engage with your learning and get to know the teaching team and course mates. You will receive faster feedback through more regular assessment, and have a better study-life balance to enjoy other important aspects of university life. Our optional placement year is an invaluable opportunity to gain experience and to apply theories into practice.

We may consider late applications but if you need a Student Visa to study in the UK, you will need time to apply for and receive your visa to be in the UK by the start of the course. A Bachelor degree, Candidatus Philosophiae, Diplomingeniør , Professionsbachelor or Korrespondenteksamen with a final overall result of at least 7 out of 10. A Bachelor degree with a final overall result of at least 80-85% depending on the institution attended. A four year Bachelor degree with a final overall score of at least 80% depending on the institution attended.

Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification. Entry onto our Foundation Year maybe offered as an alternative to the degree course if lower entry grades are achieved. Year 1You will study a range of topics, designed to give you a solid foundation for your business degree.

The new post-study work visa will apply to international students starting undergraduate and postgraduate courses from 2020 at universities with a track record of compliance with immigration policy.
